Minecraft: My VERY OWN Redstone Lamp Contraption Tutorial
MEEEEEEEEP!!!! That is probably my record for the longest time between blog posts. Sorry. ANYWAY, I have made a cool redstone lamp contraption and I thought I might as well put it on my blog because it's cool.
Alright, in case you didn't know, I put a picture of what a redstone lamp looks like. Ok, so, first of all go into creative. You will need: stone blocks, a lever, seven gold blocks, six redstone lamps, sticky pistons and a few redstone blocks. After you have this stuff, build a 3x3 square out of stone. Then, do another one with "A2 and B2" missing. After you have done that, put a lever on the side of C2. Put a sticky piston facing towards A2 in the centre. Pull the lever and the sticky piston should activate. put a redstone block on the sticky side of the sticky piston and then put a stone block one block away but on the floor. On this stone block, place a sticky piston facing upwards with a redstone block on the sticky side. Put another sticky piston facing upwards one block above with a redstone block on the top again. When you pull the lever it should power ALL of the sticky pistons. Now turn it of again. Do the upward-sticky-piston-with-redstone-on-top thing a few more times and then put square of gold blocks around the top redstone block. Mine A2 of the gold blocks and replace it with a redstone lamp. The lamp should light up. Now, put redstone lamps on top of B1, B3, C2 and the redstone lamp you just built. Now put a redstone block one block above the top redstone block. Now when you pull the lever the light should switch from the single redstone lamp to the five next to it! You could use this contraption to indicate the start and/or end of something, or you could change some of the blocks to make it trigger some other redstone contraption. What you do with it is up to you!
BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
If you replace the redstone lamps with sticky pistons then you could put redstone blocks on the end to activate four contraptions at once!
